Joe Bradley has practiced law in Northern Nevada since 1983 and has spent his entire career as a personal injury attorney working only for injured people. In recognition of his years of trial skill, professionalism and highest ethical standards, Joe is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the most select and exclusive associations for trial attorneys and judges in the United States. Joe is also AV Rated by the premier legal ranking organization Martindale-Hubble. Being rated AV Preeminent is the pinnacle of professional excellence earned through a strenuous peer review process. Joe has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 plaintiff’s trial lawyer and rated as one of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators.

Joe received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1978 and his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1983. Joe has been admitted to practice law in the state of Nevada since 1983 and is also admitted to practice before the Northern and Southern Districts of the United States Federal District Courts of Nevada. Joe has argued cases before the Nevada Supreme Court on multiple occasions and has tried cases in Washoe County, Clark County and most of the rural counties of Northern Nevada.

Over his career, Joe has obtained more than 50 Million Dollars on behalf of his clients from every conceivable insurance company and he has represented thousands of people in personal injury claims and accidents. These include automobile accidents, aviation and boating accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, defective products; claims arising against cities, counties and the state of Nevada, negligent security cases against major hotels, casinos and apartment complexes, premises liability cases involving slip/trip and falls; as well as dog bite cases and medical malpractice cases.

Representing injured people against giant insurance companies, corporations and other so called “Goliaths” brings a special satisfaction to Joe. Recently, Joe obtained $3.75 million dollars for a 52 year old gentleman who was seriously injured when a semi-tractor/trailer turned in front of his motorcycle. Joe also obtained a $10.5 million dollar settlement for a 50 year old man who suffered near fatal injuries and multiple amputations as the result of an aviation disaster. Joe engineered a $4.0 million dollar jury verdict for a 56 year old mentally challenged man who was badly burned by a defective commercial high pressure cooker in a case where the defense offered only $50,000 pre-trial to settle the case. Joe received a $1,000,000 jury verdict for a 45 year old woman who slipped a fell at a local car dealership, which is still the highest jury verdict in Washoe County arising out of a slip and fall injury. Each of the above claims were hotly disputed, contested and defended by well-funded defendant’s insurance companies, but Joe’s skill and hard work allowed him to provide justice and compensation to the injured and needy victims.

Besides being a lawyer, Joe is married to Liza for over 30 years, a father of two adult children (one a practicing lawyer for Washoe County Public Defenders office), he is deeply involved with his alma mater having served two terms as Chairman of the University of Nevada, Reno Foundation Board of Trustees and has been awarded the prestigious President’s Medal from UNR for his service and commitment to the University. Joe loves life, is a friend to all who know him and he and his family enjoy many outdoor activities as part of living in Northern Nevada from skiing and hiking to golf, fly fishing and spending time at Lake Tahoe; but they especially enjoy cheering for and supporting all the student/athletes who compete for the University of Nevada, Reno.
