Reports said the pickup truck was rear-ended by a southbound tractor-trailer.

Reportedly, the pickup truck was knocked into the northbound travel lane and was struck by an oncoming service utility truck. Tragically, authorities said the driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
